At Ochsner Hospital for Children we offer the highest level of pediatric care for children
with even the most complex needs – like cancer treatment and organ transplants. Our 120
pediatric physicians include top specialists in pediatric cardiology and congenital cardiac
surgery, gastroenterology, oncology, pulmonology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and more, as
well as child life specialists. Our 125-bed hospital features a special pediatric emergency
room, a 54-bed Level III Regional NICU, a 14-bed Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, a
12-bed Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and a 45-bed Pediatric Acute
(Medical/Surgical) Unit.
